Running lyx-2.3.6.1 on Slackware-14.2. Imported a .png image to a beamer
class frame. Compiling to pdf using pdflatex throws an error, but does
produce the output .pdf.
The error log is attached and the error is shown on line 739, but I don't
see what's causing it.

I have test a lot of changes in order to mantain decimal dot and remove tags,
working in Spanish. My later message was wrong, because I had changed language
to English. Annoying tags appear and disappear changing languaje from spanish

you don't need to do anything, because beamer does not produce paper. I
collaborate a lot with a colleague in the US and do need to do anything
for the presentations. For the papers he changes the LyX to Letter if he
wants to print and I to A4 if I want to print.
If you like, you can

I think something bad happened while working on my file in Windows

After 10 years of being irritated that the Beamer presentations of mine
leave a black frame in full screen, I now finally found that
aspectratio=1610 removes it.
Tested it with Skim, Acrobat and Preview (and on Zoom) and looks great.
