I don't know too much about ActiveSync, but if it's Exchange 365 using
so-called modern Auth (i.e. OAuth2), my experience is that MailMate
r5757 works fine. You need to select OAuth2 in the "IMAP Account
Settings" screen for both IMAP & SMTP. Specify outlook.office365.com as
the IMAP & SMTP
I sent screenshots of the smart mailbox settings (which show the same
info as below), but my post has to be approved by the moderator since it
was larger than 40KB(?).

Have you tried running MailMate from a Terminal window to see if any

+1. I reported this issue on this list before. Search the archives for
the subject "default account derived from context is not behaving?".
Here's the key point I posted at the end of that thread, and it still
applies:

Hi Shoshanna, all the previous builds are available here:

I've bookmarked it, as it has saved me a couple times already.

P.S. Builds will show up there that Benny hasn't announced or yet made
available; I would avoid downloading any of those.
I can confirm the second issue (running 5748). I think it depends how
you "exit" the search to trigger the issue. But once in the problematic
mode, it can be hard to get that search bar functional again!

Does double-clicking on the message one-line header summary open it for
editing? That's how it works for drafts I save myself to come back to
later; I would expect similar behavior regardless of how the message
ended un in the Drafts folder.

Hi, on my system that preference doesn't exist:
sharakan% defaults read com.freron.MailMate MmDefaultAddressBook
2020-11-20 07:56:20.794 defaults[11988:255383]
The domain/default pair of (com.freron.MailMate, MmDefaultAddressBook)
does not exist
This means you can just delete the entry:

Thanks.
