Brings back memories of my days in the Peace Corps. This was the official vehicle of the Geological Surveys Dept. where I was assigned while serving in Fiji. I learned how to shift a 4 speed manual on the floor w/o using the clutch when driving a Land Rover. Very rugged and easy to work on.

The Sears cordless drill lasted about 10 years, and at 16 years one of the battery packs still will hold enough juice to get a few small things done. I was tempted to either rebuild the battery packs or replace the battery packs, but when I looked at the cost, this HF deal was a no-brainer. $26.40

I don't buy a cheap cordless drill expecting it to last 10 years with little to no use, I figure the battery will die in five years (which might be 5-10 uses) so I buy a cheap 120v drill and expect it to last a lifetime. Mitch. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com
