ok everyone, oil change time. Time to go with the thinner stuff in the gasser. So, I opted for the Rotella 15/40 dino stuff. Made some calls, listened to the oil threads here, and went with the diesel oil as it has the higher zinc. We'll see how it goes. Think of me and my car as a real work

As I'm still cleaning out the engine and dumping the oil every 2000 kms, M1 at $7.50 per litre is little pricey. Once things look cleaner, I may switch over, but the old gasser's done well on dino, making it to 356,000 kms, and probably getting the best care it's even had in it's life now, that

What did it look like? 911s with certain brands of oils a number of years ago, would produce engine honey. Just water that didn't seem to burn off. I remember dumping the oil in my 911 once and getting all this creamy looking crap in the bottom of the oil tank. I changed brands, but kept the

Some of the CIS cars have much higher fuel pressure, near 100 PSI in the line. Gas is very stable, but once atomized, or mixed with enough oxygen, it goes up easy, but pretty anything will do the same. Dust in a silo is a good example. Even some metal shaving will burn pretty nice. Ed 300E On

I could do that, but to factor in travel, gas and my time, not really worth going that route, not to mention the time now spent at the border when crossing over either way. I have no problem with pay the taxes and exchange rate, if any, but some of the customs brokers are just silly prices.
