I did the water pump on the $500E300, I took out the radiator to have
some room to work. had to take the fan off too. It wasn't a terribly
bad job, just annoying to have to take out other stuff to get to the WP,
which it turned out was OK, it was that stupid alternator clutch
pulley.
Apparently 2 valves, one for front and one for rear, it would appear the
front valve has failed (or nearly so as it drops slowly). tophydraulics
want $500 for a rebuild. I have to research some more, see if it is
DIYable. Saw a chinesium valve for like $450 "new."
