The Mobil 1 made a great improvement in my 300D 2.5. The dealer put it
in when I had a factory refurbished transmission installed. They
recommended it. It shifts much better when cold.

Excuse the question, but is there a clean pre and main fuel filter on there?

Curt, do you use the block heater? I ask because I ordered an electric
block heater thinking I would need it for my 300D and it starts
perfectly without it.
It is new in box. You can have it if you're interested and it will fit
your 190.

flare up during the shift?
Is there any difference between a cold box and operating temp box? May pay
to pull the pan to see if there is debris in there, while it is off a new
filter and fluid can't hurt.
Is there any warranty left on the box?

the
transmission fluid in my 300D and it was a bit low so we added a couple
of ounces. This might have been part of the slow 1-2 shift. We'll see.
Happy motoring to all.

Thanks to all for the wonderful expert advice. I'll keep people posted.
I did the diesel purge last week

Are they a quality item?
I personally have been toying with the idea of getting a 190 2.6 gasser
for a third car here, along with my question about the later Diesels
above, anybody have a 190? Opinions?
Thanks

I think it is built and open, the one in Warwick RI. I saw it last
weekend. I didn't go in, but it appeared to be open for business.

I'll check the wheel weights.
I'm just ticked because I brought it in with no shake at all- but a
blown ball joint. Now it shakes like a s.o.g.
Could alignment do this?
