Both the White-winged Scoter and the Black Scoter were in the Grand Marais
Harbor and East Bay off shore area October 23. I photographed them both from a

Spotted a Long-tailed Duck swimming with the Common Goldeneye in Shingobee Bay
on
Leech Lake in Cass County this afternoon. The birds were observed straight out

Relocated it further out closer to the Wisconsin side but eventually it moved
along the ice edge

I sent a correction but must have been in a dead spot since did not go
Directions should have been about one mile west of intersection of Yellow
Medicine co 3 and 40 about two miles north of Cottonwood
