I don't know a lot about electronics, but maybe the PSU in your 8280 is
going bad, and putting it in the other machine charged the capacitors on
the board just enough to work again with the bad PSU for a while. If
that's the case, the wavyness should return.

We have loaded the moonblaster routines and when we switch the CPU to Z80,
it will completely hang the machine. We have found that if we do not use
this routine above, the problem doesn't occure, but we need to switch to
the Z80...
I assume you've also tested without the moonblaster routines? If
Not satisfied in having a multitask OS for MSX, I decided to have also a
multiterminal MSX.
