I believe IU and Sun do similar things (although our MTT setups are quite
different from each other, I think we have all separated the
get/install/get/build stuff from test runs).

Yep -- am not worried about that. MTT data submits don't have to be super
speedy. If a local verification takes (say) .01 second, and a google account
verification takes 1 second (or even a few secon

my own reductions in order to do
some real data mining, parsing through the data, etc. Specifically, I'd like
to be able to exploit the whole "bring the computation to the data" philosophy
of map reduce, because MTT data can be *huge*. But I don't see how to do this
with GQL...?

comment on this more intelligently than me -- they did almost all of the
database work, not me.
I'm *guessing* that it won't come anywhere close to the size of the Open MPI
database (we haven't trimmed the data in the OMPI database since we started
gathering data in the database
