The fact that the problem resolved when I disabled and restarted Google app,
and then returned, perhaps after the Google app updated to the latest version,
highlights it is to do with the link between MLO and Google
I finally got it to work by disabling (i.e. uninstalling the Google app) and
then enabling it. This was at the cost of losing the layouts on my launcher.
Sadly the problem returned a day or two later.
I don't know what widget is being suggested, but my practice was, before it

taking a note which is sent automatically to the MLO Inbox. This stopped
happening and the Notes are being stored in the phone stock Notes system
instead.

the Android and Windows versions, as Dwight mentioned above. In addition,
within the Windows app, the prefixes are sorted differently depending on

It's complicated, as you can set up that hierarchy within the outline directly,
and that is what I would do. You can also set up a hierarchy in contexts,
thought that is more artful as the contexts are shown in menus in alphabetical
order, which would not work for your list without amending it.
It happens to me too. I have Microsoft Surface PC's. To be able to move the
window, I have to exit MLO and restart the application. I use Eset antivirus.
There is no error message, the MLO window just gets stuck in its position on
the screen.

I believe this view is meant to maintain its manual order across different
devices, but found this did not happen for me yesterday. I'm sure it used to be
the case. Any advice on this, or workarounds? Obviously it is a shame we lose

I have remembered a way of doing this on Android. You first have to make a
repeating task on the desktop version, and delete the Regenerate next task
field. If you then synchronize your file to Android, you have a task that, when
clicked as done, uncompletes itself and all subtasks. Once that
I too have missed this feature for many years, which I used every day in
Android V!. I have tried using the recurrence settings, but this is awkward and
forces me to use dates when I don't want to.

I have tried the rich text feature in the MLO 5 beta, which uses "Markdown",
however this can make formatted notes hard to read in the Android MLO file, so
I have abandoned this option for now.

I archive every few days after receiving this warning when I was at around 8000
tasks. I preserve outline branches by making the root of the branch a project.
