I know hands off bars is not a recommended way to ride, and I don't. However, I do find on my 86 700sc that hands off (briefly) at any speeds from 20-60mph and I get some serious tank slapping front wheel wobble. Nothing noticeable when driving hands on, but cornering doesn't feel quite right.
