This is missing from MoneyWell and I'm trying to fix that in 1.4.2. If
you want to access your account with a demo of another product for now
to activate the online banking, that is a quick workaround. Sorry for
this limitation. It will go away quickly.

Yes, user-defined smart buckets are coming in the 2.0 release. That
will be later in 2009 because we are working on an iPhone version,

This is not automatic (yet) in MoneyWell. You have to confirm that
each pending transaction is current by switching them manually.
You can select a group of them, right-click and change them all at
once if you'd like.

If they are a transfer in MoneyWell, they will not show up in
unassigned. You can right-click on any transaction though and set it
as bucket optional.

simply money flows. If you create one manually or create several using
Allocate Income, they all end up looking the same to MoneyWell.

That's what the new option in Allocate Income is for. Simply change
the "Next Month Starts" to the number of days it is prior to the new
month and MoneyWell will allow you to allocate for next month early.

A transfer is between accounts. You can assign the outgoing
transaction to a bucket if you'd like. Money Flows are what you use to

I just tested that and I'm not seeing this problem. For me it took
money out of both income buckets. Remember that if your first income
bucket has enough to fill the expense buckets, there's no reason for
MoneyWell to dip into the other buckets. Could this be what happene

The basics are that you create a transaction with the full amount of
your receipt and assign a bucket to that transaction. Then you create
a split from that and start to change the amounts in the split to the
smaller amounts of your child transactions.

It's funny you mentioned the Apple key. That came from the Apple IIGS
and as a Mac user from 1984, I was annoyed when Apple added that
symbol to the Command key. To me, it's always been a command key. ;)

It doesn't change anything except that MoneyWell ignores the current
month for allocations and focuses on next month if you set the days
high enough.

a little late, that's all. That is the reason for this setting, so you
