Some additional information on the location. The Goose was hanging around at
the Northern end of Tibbetts Brook Park, right near the area that has a bunch
of kiddie pools and a water slide.

Erik Miller and I are looking at a Louisiana Waterthrush that he found
yesterday at Alley Pond Environmental Center in Douglaston Queens. The area
(pond), is west of the visitor's center and the Windmill. Also here was a
singing Rusty Blackbird.

Re-found by Colleen and Bobby Veltri who were searching with Eric Miller and
many others. Seen near edges of 76 avenue and Cloverdale Blvd. The bird is
active, so patience is necessary if you try for it.

was really attentively listening for the
song, it could easily be missed. Hopefully the bird sticks around for more
folks to see it, as today we witnessed many birders from across the
boroughs show up in hopes of getting a look.

on. For
example, a Louisiana Waterthrush that we had yesterday afternoon at Decodon
Pond was not there today.
Also, a watchful eye for a reported northbound Swallow-tailed Kite possibly
heading our way, did not return any dividend.
