DX cannot find the entry point DXEntry in the module.
Using gcc on Redhat Linux 9.0 and Fedora,the link for my loadable module
has -e DXEntry while yours has -e _DXEntry. Is the additional
underscore correct? Tjhe actual name of the routine is just DXEntry.

Using the Options module to set the diffuse light level seems to work
backwards: values below about 0.5 produce very bright light while higher
values produce less light. Ambient and specular light levels seem to work

The only reference in libDX.a to _dxfHWload is as an unresolved reference.
(a U flag from nm).
In libDXcallm.a, nm finds _dxfHWload twice: with a U and with a T flag. I
think the T flag means that it found the actual code.
Some changes were needed for a successful compile under True64; could
_dxfHWload is returned as an unresolved reference when linking only to
libDX.a for DX 4.3.3 on aTrue64 (alpha) system. However, it works. Adding
libDXcallm.a to the link resolves the reference but adds many multiply
defined references; and the resulting shared object does not work. Neither
it publicly available in a few weeks. I could send what I have to
specific persons now if needed.

no compression. The ImageMagick convert program can convert the MIFF file
to, say, an MPEG file. It can run overnight and take as much time as is

Just guessing: most isosurface algorithms look for places where the values
in the data field *cross* the isovalue. Since all your data values are 1,
there are no crossings.
Since you have connections, why not just draw your field directly? That is,
connect your reader to the Display or Image
Any reason DX should not compile on a 64 bit machine? We're having some
problems getting it to run on Alphas under Tru64 Unix.

Using the default lights, the output from Slab is lit from the wrong side.
Adding 4 directional lights pointing in +/- X and +/- Z helps. Putting in
an ambient light, at any brightness, seems to make no difference.
I use only hardware rendering on a Dell Pentium 4 with an Nvidia card.

that is only lit from one side; the other side is always black. Adding
Light, AmbientLight, and using Options to set the ambient and diffuse light
levels makes virtually no difference. Adding FaceNormals makes no

Of course, there are many other details. Does the above basic plan make
