Your statement is incorrect. "Failed to Connect to Remote" does not always
mean "just that". I won't bore you with the details, but a quick inspection
with SoftICE shows that this symptom will show itself in response to 3
distinctly different problems in the tool set.

be converted to a .pdb Palm Resource Database. There are a couple
of apps out there that do this. Check www.palmgear.com . Bitmaps are
definitely the graphic file format of choice in development, though.

Even with the reduction phase works just fine if you crop the image properly
320x320. That's how it was done before POSE started exporting the BMPs
directly ;-)

Feature pointers are good, if your OS supports it.
The File Atreaming API isn't bad either, depending on what you're

but moving it
onto another machine would be lots more work, somewhat due to
cost but more
due to beurocratic reasons.

Your problem probably refers to the limit of available dynamic heap. Use the
storage heap - create a database and use DmNewHandle().
There are shortcuts to this process, but they would make your code less
