Just installed latest version of Burnaware on Windows 7 64-bit and running latest WE 9.1. When I run Burnaware, all I get is a pane. There's nothing on the screen. It's the free version. Any ideas?

Sure it will. If you can record through a mic using a mic jack, you can get a cord with a resistor in it from radio shack and use that. You can, if I remember right, specify the quality of mp3 the machine generates. You would at worst have to figure a way to cut the tape files into segments.

DVD Burning Issue

Two days ago, out of the blue, my dvd drive started taking almost two hours to make and burn a data dvd. Where I could once start to make a dvd and count on it being 30 percent through the compare pass, the same time now only gets me to 15 percent in the write pass. The discs haven't changed.
