Hallo all!
Continuing the thread, I digged out the slides that I shot using my MZ-M.
The exposure seems quite accurate. However, in two cases, it overexposed
the frame. This is happening probably because 2-segment multipattern
metering is close to centerweighted metering. To check this point
I'm in love. Peter knows why - delivery arrived today (thanks).
Just holding it is a wonderous thing. Havent had time to use it yet,
but I just know I'm gonna be hooked.

David, this sounds like bad news. The mechanical aperture coupling
on your PZ-1p appears to have shifted. Exposure should be affected
with all manual lenses. However, it should expose correctly with
F/FA lenses, as these transmit indeed the aperture value as part of

I just took delivery of a Pentax MX kit. It came with
a SMC M 28mm/f3.5, SMC M 50mm/f2.0, and a Vivitar
135mm/f3.5 plus a bunch of filters (2 80A, 2
Polarizers, 1 Orange 02 filter, and 2 UV filters). It
also came with 2 2x converters and three close-up

Just purchased a used Manfrotto 055 tripod and a 136 head.
The tripod is awesome. Built like a tank, great for MF cameras.
The head, not realizing that it was for video cameras, seems like it's going
to be useless for my needs. It has the smoothest action I've seen on a
tripod, and it will hold

I did notice today that the LED's are hard to see in
bright sunlight. The thing is the camera is so new to
me that it's not bothering me at all. Just enjoying
this nice little compact camera. On the other hand,
the lenses that I got are somewhat pretty well used
especially the 50mm/f2. The
