I think in most cases the web image should be cropped the same as the
print. The exception might be where there is interesting detail that
gets lost in a small image. Perhaps the ideal solution in regard to

I'm trying to improve my protrait technique and I offer up this
image for critique.
Shot with my Ricohmatic 225 on Agfa APX 100 film. Developed in Rodinal
(1:100 for 60 mins) scanned on my Epson 3170. Heavily cropped in PS7
with contrast
Go to Image/Adjustments/Hue and Saturation in PS. On the menu at top
where it says master, pull down to blue. Decrease lightniess and
increase satuation. Adjust hue if necessary.

crisp the image is. And for the first time I see that the girl has a
piereced nose and is wearing fishnet stockings. The fishnets seem to be
almost a nod to prostitution, but the stocking cap says she really
