I guess the lens send digital signature to the body which record it in the PEF file. Photo Laboratory can then translate this info into a lens name. Proof '(more or less): Adobe can't do the same. It never recognizes lenses but Photo laboratory will recognize the lens with the same PEF file.

Over this weekend I took the family down to Monterey, CA to see the beach and aquarium. The big issue was the forecast. There was supposed to be rain the whole time we would be there. As we arrived the rain was just ending for the moment. This was taken at Marina beach just north of Monterey.
