No, I don´t know the painter. I found it on a street art market i Strasbourg
and I did use some time to find the right angle. There was something funny
there I just had to photograph...

I have this lens, without the 1:1 tube. I have it on a PK-A Adaptall-2

glad to learn that! however it doesn't fully explain it since front of

T-mounts have a male thread of 42mm by 0.75mm thead pitch,
M42 lenses have a 42mm by 1.0mm pitch. Don't attempt to
fit a T-mount lens onto a M42 body or M42 adapter directly.
You need to use the correct Tmount adapter with T mount
lenses

Thanks, Bob. Yes they do. [$205] Also a couple of 18-55 F3.5-5.6 SMC DA AL II

telephoto lenses are physically shorter than their

Yes. You won't get any more automation, (T mounts are basically just

I'm fine on the lack of automation, just trying to save swapping mounts

I know how it feels as I am 67. I try to find what I am interested in

I agree. The mist works nicely for you here. Great color and light as well. I
might have liked it a bit more if the lower falls were moved to the left in
frame and we saw more of the mist at upper right. Of course, I wasn't there, so
it's just a guess.

Lucky spot, great timing (I question that it is more than
coincidental, lightning happens faster than human reaction) but the
image is to me spectacular only because of the fact depicted, not
because it is overly pretty imo.

I wish I could have done as you suggested. Yosemite has lots of
trees as well, and they just get in the way sometimes. From that
