The sharpest lens I own is the Vivitar 90-180m f4.5 flat field. That's just purely subjective, no actual testing. It is however not particularly convenient being heavy, relatively slow, and requiring the green button kludge to meter properly. Of my Pentax lenses, the 43mm limited is best
