Decent work Brendan. It takes a lot of work to photograph a model...light,
pose, what in the heck to do with thier hands, etc.
Did you use a reflector in any of the photographs?
I see you are using a fill flash in some...the catch-light in the eyes looks
good.

adapter on my ZX-5n and get screw mount lenses to meter - that's pretty
backwards compatible. I can't think of any other camera company with an AF
system that can offer that kind of consistancy, but I know that Pentax is
starting to change some of this - : ( .

traditional photos are still a big part of the work, but the
BW 'honest' shots of what goes on at the wedding gives a 'story' look to a
package that normally has a lot of posed shots.

I don't NEED the 300mm end. I would prefer to buy a fixed focal 300 or
extend a 200 F4 manual focus (1.4/1.7 extender).

I think that by looking back only to 1990 you miss the
sea state change started by Minolta with the first fully
integrated AF in 1985.
It is just where I started my search through the magazines. A decade looked
good to me. I understand it missed a few things.
Ever since that time camera
zooming.
So the 80-200 might compliment my 28-70 F4 AL ok? I'm not to keen on zooms,
but it has really been a gem for a lot of different work. I think I'll get
one more before they totally dissappear.

Would a 70-200 be too much. There are some good 70-200 F4 lenses for $130 or
less.
If you are looking at the faster glass, chances are you will have a good
lens. Any 2.8 - 4 type lens will give good results, most of the time.

Ok...I'm looking around and find a nice 200 F 4 SMC...the info says its a
58mm (filter). I thought the 200 was a 52mm. Am I wrong? Is this an A lens
(I assumed it was an M)? Do I need to open a window when I use this glue? A

This may be late, but that K-mart FOCAL lens is pretty good. My first set
was a K1000 with Focal lenses from K-mart. It's too bad they don't have it

I just read the article in Shutterbug and man, I can see why this generated so
much list traffic earlier in the week - this is not just another new chip
That's a big deal The implications are huge It doesn't smell
I would love to see a DSLR that is still capable of using all Pentax lenses
It's one of the best reasons to have a Pentax - so many lenses to choose
from!
I would have to go with the 77mm for the best lens - it would work great
with a full 35mm size chip or smaller
