When I started using Pentax gear and I discovered the
PDML, I liked to look at the PUG because there I could
see what other's did with an equipment similar to mine
(so, it was my fault, not the equiment's fault ;-) ).
This way I could resist better the temptation of the
Dark Side.

With my MZ-5n, the lens most used was the FA 28-105

I wish Pentax offered a 18-70 for digital.
Then, in Novemeber came the Ds, along with a 18-55,
this one from a PDMLer. But, to my surprise, I find
myself using a lot the FA35/2, which I like

They have sites all over Europe and, in Barcelona at

FWIW, the december issue of a French magazine that I
buy from time to time has a list of the 'best' compact
digicams and the only Pentax among them is the S55
(improved S50). I think that they tested it just
before the S60 release.
Maybe you can find a new S55 at a good price since it

Almost 1 year ago, my LG 17 CRT 'collapsed'. Since
the LCD size that I really like (19) was too
expensive at that time, I went for a new 17 CRT. I
chose a Samsung (SyncMaster 793) with a flat screen
(not rounded) and good specs (refresh rate, dot
size,...) that went for the equivalent of about

A friend bought one on my recommendation. She likes

Firefox (1.0.7), tried with Explorer (6.0...) and also
worked, although slower.
Maybe a plug-in issue?
