I've never heard of a program that does that automatically. I think
that you could write your own loader launcher that works as a service,
keeping track of the program's process ID and checks for updates when
the process finishes, but I don;t know of any that are commercially
available.

Yes. Don't know.
It is generally reckoned to be the best scanning software for the
likes of us. You should be able to try the trial version before
deciding whether or not to pay for it. It doesn't cost much anyway.

the worst break in that area of the wrist that he had ever seen and he
is not a young man. BTW, it was on a mountain bike at a course that is
technical in their vernacular!

It's normal to keep the plate in unless it causes problems afterwards.
They told me mine would have to remain in, but in the event it gave
quite a lot of trouble because one of the screws worked itself halfway
out and was bulging into my flesh.
Incidentally, they also told me mine was the worst
LOL.
I bought into Vuescan and Vueprint a number of years back.
I used Vueprint as my slide show when i was still carting computers to shows.
Vuescan worked well with my Epson 2450. I could work with it much
easier than Silver what ever it was.:-)
