FWIW, here's a review of the 2011 version of the Mac Mini. The reviewer
also does the Digital Photography column in Shutterbug and pretty
consistently recommends the Mini for use by photographers over other
computers, either PC or Mac.
You're right. They just throttle it down. We have the turbo and speedtest
consistently reports 30Mb down and 5Mb up.
