A typical PEF file of 10.1Mbtyes from the *ist DS converts to a DNG
file
If I add PEF files to a folder which has DNG files in it and then run DNG
Converter it creates a second copy of the DNG files.
Any way to stop this annoying redundant behaviour?

solution 1: Sort the PEF files into a subfolder. Open DNG Converter,
set source to the subfolder and destination to the same folder as the
other DNG files.
solution 2: Let it do it's thing on all the files, than delete the
redundant files with a properly executed wildcard file parameter

Yes, it's quite simple. Grasp the power cord that connects your cpu
to a folder which has DNG
files
in it and then run DNG
Converter it creates a second copy of the DNG files.

Yes - don't put the DNG files in the same

Just a quick question about DNG.
I use CS, and I can't find any reference to the DNG format. Is this a CS2
feature only? Also, how much space is saved with using DNG?
Thanks.
Hi Gang,
I've been trying to upgrade the DNG converter that I'm using to 3.2 or 3.3,
but the Adobe store has been having difficulties and I can't download the
programs.
I was hoping someone here has either or both of the DNG converters that
they could send by email or post to a personal site
are done.

Just posted on the Adobe DNG forum:
Adobe will release the DNG 2.4 converter at the same
time as the final release of the Camera Raw 2.4 plug-in.
No announced schedule yet, but it will probably be
sometime before the public beta expires (end of Feb).
