co-worker recently told me that you need to word "CONCURRENTLY" in "CREATE
INDEX" to avoid table locking. I called BS on this because to my knowledge

A option to pg_dump and maybe pg_dump all, that dumps only the table
declarations and the data. No owners, tablespace, nothing.

I would say the preformated database is easier to manage. There are
hundreds of individual zips files, in each of those files 10 or so data
files.

parser that is designed to work with a specific dialect.
I have a PHP extension called xmldbx, it allows the PHP system to
serialize its web session data to an XML stream. (or just serialize
variables) PHP's normal serializer
