expm1, log1p: Could be useful for some people, so leave them there.
log(a) / log(n) is not that much harder, and its the right way, imho.
Why not move the more complex functions into a separate math extension or
statistics extension?

changes I think there is enough new stuff and incompatible changes to
warrant a 4.1
XSLT is working for me now... ;)
it really only needs a bunch of testing and some backends to be
implemented (to my knowledge someone is already working on libxslt
and Xalan backends).

Just a note, PHP 4.0.4pl1 has ambiguous errors. Still you can use the
xslt_set_error_handler() function to get all errors that occur (more
descriptive than the sabcmd program).

The patch looks ok, a couple of questions though...
1) disktotalspace() looks like a memory intensive operation, perhaps
having a cache might not be a bad idea.
2) I see you use LoadLibrary to load in kernel32.dll on Win32, what

Can you try the latest CVS; I can't seem to reproduce with the CVS version
and my linux box (I don't do windows, sorry ;)

I don't know how to explain this. I've built libcurl-7.7.2
with OpenSSL 0.9.6a, and php_curl.dll from php4-200105070645
shows correct stuff in phpinfo(), but
to subscribe to the engine-api-doc mailing list).
We need discussed cleaning up the xml (yes, I have nerve, don't at all
feel obligated ;), to conform to phpdoc style a while ago, but no one
ever found the patience... ;)
