Unless I'm overlooking something (very possible) there's been no mention
of this issue in this thread: when using this plugin, some Google tracks
exit early, skipping to the next track in the playlist instead of
playing to the end. For reference, it's been mentioned in the issues for
this plugin
Don't overlook Squeezer. Despite a few annoyances, it's very good and
it's free. (This is for the original poster, not in response to the
question about Android TV.)

An old problem seems to have returned. After more than a year of working
as it should, Google Music tracks are again stopping and advancing to
the next track before they have finished.
This is on the latest nightly of 7.9.2 (1547616941), on Linux X64.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem again? (Google music tracks

Running LMS 7.9.1 - 1522157629 on Debian 8 X86_64, and I have recently
discovered SQL Playlist. I see some references in the forum saying that
it does not work well with recent versions of LMS. So far it is working
well for me, but I am struggling to get it to do some things.

Again, many thanks for this! Music and Artists Information now works
perfectly with local images and text files in 0.1.1. This is what I've
been wishing for since I started using LMS.

The Drag & Drop plugin makes it possible to play local files one at a
time. Indexing them or adding them to a playlist does not seem possible.

Following up, I played music from Google throughout the afternoon.
During that time, two (or perhaps three) tracks ended prematurely. That
happens on rare occasions with other sources, so I assume those were not

In the absence of a dedicated LMS player that you can install on an
Android device, there are two options that may (or may not) be useful:

Both SB Player and SqueezePlayer are currently available in the Amazon
app store. SqueezePlayer has not been updated since 2015, while the SB
Player version is from 2018. In Google's Play store, both apps were
updated in 2019.
