version. As written in the documentation you need to install some
dependancies. On OSX thees can be installed from the terminal using the

Be good if we can get the sync working.. I have all my players synced,
it's ok if they are off but if two or more players are on when I try and
AirPlay it won't work until I turn them all off bar the one I actually
AirPlay'd too..

Just stumbled across this brilliant plugin that will now keep my system
running for another couple of years.
My current system is:-
Joggler running Squeezeplay and Squeezeboxserver 7.9.0
Squeezebox Boom
6 x rio receiver running SlimRio (Slimp3 emulation)
I can get Shairtunes (0.16) working on
I went to github, downloaded the project zip, typed make and voilà a
shairport_helper-x86-osx binary.

Mhh. My desktop is an OS X 10.10 machine, I've got XCode installed and
gathering dust on it.
With the appropriate hand-holding around XCode I can compile a binary if
needed (I remember I did, once or twice :).

Got this working on my Pi, shame I can't use it on my Windows PC.
Only issue I have is no cover art with anything I stream.. That includes
my music, Spotify and the new Apple Music which plays fine by the way
(minus cover art).
Also in the future would a way of syncing the stream to all radios

I installed the plugin on my odroid based soa installation. I had to
compile the binary myself because the architecture on Arch Linux
according to perl is 'armv7l-linux-thread-multi' . I therefore also
needed to patch Utils.pm to load the correct binary.
Most of the time it runs perfectly
Maybe im missing some of the requirements, however i have some issues
installing them.
Im running LMS on a synology, i have optware installed but i dont seem
to be abel to use:

I have been trying to install the plugin on LMS V7.9.0, but i get an
issue: ShairTunes2 (v0.16) Plugin Failed To Load
Do you need any further information?
I've now got it all working. However, to do so I installed it directly
in LMS, rather than via the Max2Play interface which didn't seem to
install Shairtunes (previous version) properly.
I must say it is a really neat and useful piece of software. Many

@MDE: The Shairtunes2 will be available in the main-version next week.
Until then you can update to the latest beta-version of Max2Play on the
settings page to get this plugin as showed on the screenshot.
