One word of warning so other people don't repeat what I have just done. Make sure iTunes is version 8 before downloading the v2.1 upgrade. iTunes doesn't check for its own upgrade first, and the previous version can't upgrade to 2.1, it therefore suggests going to v2.02 and duly installs this

2nd update: I did a fresh install of SC7.1 on my Mac and now this works fine. I shut down SC, removed anything called SqueezeCenter under /Library/PreferencePanes, user/Library/Caches, user/Library/Application Support and then reinstalled SC. May be worth a try. -- pippin --- see iPeng at

I upgraded to 5.1 last week but found that I can no longer control the volume of my SB3 with the iTouch. The volume bar did display but it is white in colour and not movable. Is this a known issue or something I did wrong? Reverting to 4.5 and the volume bar works again. -- Honva
