When trying to install SQ3.4 on Vista I get the "can't find MSVCR71.dll"
error too - although I have 3.3 installed already so it's not too urgent
an issue for me.
I guess it might be an idea to post in the actual SQ forums, but there
are lots of unanswered
undamentally wrong with my ripping/setup etc.?

demos run fine but I still see the connection error when running 3D
Browser on the Vista/SC box.
I did manage to borrow an XP client and after installing DirectX, 3D
Browser seems to work fine on that (to my SC server) - and it looks
great!

Included internal menus = all enabled

I think I've found the issue.
If I remove the quotes around the folder name in the library config (I
put them since the folder name contains a space) i.e. the field is now
just E:\Kids Music, then the song count shows the right value.

How do I remove License Manager completely from the SB players?
I've uninstalled License Manager and Custom Browse etc. plugins from
LMS 7.7 and restarted but my Touch and Controller keep bleating
"Requires license, see License Manager applet ..." all over the

artwork folder, so surely that should mean that an LMS plugin can write
to it too, given then it has written to the artist artwork folder?

Going back to the missing album artwork pre-cached files, I enabled
Debug logging and saw what it did with a particular album that has no
embedded artwork or image files in the album folder.

More often than I'd like, I get duplicate listings and it'd be great to
see which album/track is in flac v mp3, or is the pressing with extra

Yup - I think Settings would benefit from being labelled Material Skin
(per device) settings. I'm sure it's obvs to those changing it often but
for occasional fiddlers it is confusing. Though I guess if you use a
different browser on a device or SLX) then it'll be different. Or per
interface? Bit

Yup that's exactly what I get too - it's certainly not exclusive mode,
which does work in Foobar (sorry i mistyped Foobar shared mode earlier).

I seem to have royally screwed my SLX local player. I think it's because
I changed some of the squeezelite parameters tying to get wasapi
exclusive mode to work but now the local player just will not respond to
Play at all, even if the output is set to Default (there are two

My soundcard's default format (Windows setting) had somehow been changed
to a sample rate of 48KHz so it couldn't be used, even though exclusive
mode is disabled, and ISTR you saying that squeezelite doesn't return

In Help, right clicking some text doesn't bring up a context menu with

I've found an odd intermittent issue when my mouse wheel is clicked up a
single detent it accelerates the vol slider rather hastily to 100%. This

I find the burying of useful admin tasks under settings e.g. rescan
library, playlists, restart server etc. frustrating, and that could be

Just FYI - a slight issue this morning - there was an unknown exception
0xe08 occurred plus there was a small letterbox 'black hole' in the
middle of the app in player mode, which disappeared on switching to a
different skin. It's on 2.1.9.
