For podcasts, you need to enable (install) the Podcast player app (I do
this from the web account, the My Apps section). Then, you add the url
(opml) path to the list. That is what makes them show in the radio menu,
under Podcasts or My Apps, depending on how you set up your menu.
Favorites is
Mine is one of the original Radios that never had a battery in it, and
failed. It was playing along just fine on AC, then stopped playing.

I cleaned the smoke-gunk and it seems to be the transistor at Q3. It is
right above the brown box (condensor, I think). Man, I didn't realize
how rusty I am at this. Since that transistor is essentially heaved and
split, the printing is not going to seen on the casing.
This is a follow up to a topic for my radio that was ticking but would
not power up. The commercial repair joint charged $25 to tell me it
won't power on and the parts are not available. Duh.
I found a board-level repair person who took it apart and we can SEE

I found a bench-level repair guy who was willing to look at it, and he
thinks it is a MOSFET:
found a short across the main power input
having a rough time identifying the exact part number of the MOSFET
that's failing

This is the original Baby Radio, bought right when they first came out,
US.
I was playing a podcast (via squeezebox.com, My Apps, Podcasts list)
that has been making the radio and/or the Boom go to sleep (stopped)
after each 20 min chunk, and when I check the radio there is a message
that it was
up and starts at the stopped source display same as the
Controller.

a situation with certain Alarm
(Alarm 2 or 3 or?) coming on, running for a minute, then resetting and
coming up again. You have to be patient, as each software update
affects these functions, for better and/or worse.

I've posted elsewhere in support of the screen icons never changing.
I also updated my post the Power Off (standby mode) with the setting
for Screen Off should = Off but this still isn't staying Off, the
backlight kicks in; I can count 10 sec and it kicks in most times.

Thanks for the suggestion but, no, it's not used this way. I use the
Boom with SBS sometimes, as it gets moved around and has better sound.
The Radio is just in a small back room and is always connected to
MySB.com.

disappeared (the screen hasn't gone back to Now Playing) I consistently
get the backlight on at a count of 10.
The normal routine is to turn down the radio and power down as I leave
the room, so the next power on won't be a shock to anyone's senses.
