Probably because it won’t work well. But nobody seems to know for sure as

I think I know someone who’d build me such a thing, I’m just stalling
because I’m hesitant to spend money (and ask a

Based in my experience with os rivtubing bikes:
Bleriot -8/5/8- excellent on flats and downhills/bogs down going uphill. Both
53 and 55cm frames.
Sam Hillborne-same exact ride as Bleriot. 52cm blue frame.
Rambouillet- 8/5/8 but thinner walled stays and ST than Sam and Bleriot. Alot
easier uphill

I sold you that Saluki and I used to run the Schwalbe”fatties” that Riv used
to sell. I think they were labeled 52 wide but measured about 47. That was
about the limit on that frame. It is the later model with the kickstand plate
which has more clearance than the first run Salukis. I
Dave, 38mm is safe max (I’ve ridden Barlow Pass and currently Steilacooms), but
you can squeeze in Snowsqualme (44) so long as everything is true and you don’t
need to go too far forward with the rear wheel.

Firstly, I agree with Deacon Patrick that the Paul's are the bomb for
setting up. Once you get the spring tension right they are dynamite and so
easily adjustable.

I've seen pictures of Pudge's Saluki with SBH's no fenders though the
clearances were slim.
I've never had larger than a 42 on mine. Whenever I get off my tandem or my
wife's Clementine I think how is like a Saluki exactly as it is but fitting
Schwable Big one tires and fenders... Guess
I ran Hetres (with fenders) on my saluki, and that seemed like an ideal
size for that bike.

Mark once showed me the specs they sent to the frame builder for Legolas
and Roadeo. They have the same tubing for top and seat tubes, fork blades
and chain stays but I don't remember those thicknesses. The Legolas
downtube is slightly heavier
at .7/.5/.7 vs .65/.45/65 for the Roadeo.

My PBH is 89 cm, and I ride a 59 San Marcos with plenty of seatpost.
According to the geometry chart, there is only .1" between the two sizes.
The 59 has 2 top tubes where the 57 will only have 1, if that matters to
you. The 57 is designed for 650b, and 59 is 700c.

I've taken a measurement of my PBH and I came with 87.5cm.
I have a choice of Soma San Marcos frames - a 57 or a 59.
I'm not sure which one to get. Does anyone out there ride a San Marcos of
57 or 59 with a similar PBH?

Hi Roberta, with this mechanism, the basket is wobbly by nature. Feels
like it may fall off, but it hasn't. I think it will be fine for 10 lbs
or so cargo (a little more maybe, on wider racks) as long as you slow down
