you need a good separation between your receive and your tx .
with 6 your are in business
4 can be used too but i would suggect droping at 90 or 85 watts
also they depends also if you had not problem adjusting

we tryed the SD222-SF3PASNM and we find it quite directionnal i must say.
the SD212-HF2P2SNM has been my antenna for 5 years and never failed me and
since we are in salted air region they are well built too.

i just pick up an big cabinet Micor repeater used on the Pager network.
it was functionning well,it is receiveing in UHF and her tx is in the 141 mhz
so applicable for ham use.
