contributors can drop breaking news, news, traffic, community notices,
and in our case Civil Defence announcements The CD media guy [ex Jock
great voice ] has access and just records a voicer on his laptop and
drops it in.

RD Log manager can take some time to generate a log if you have a lot of
songs in the library and have a number of rules relating to the selection.
1.5 hours would be in the normal range. We run log generation from a shell
script at 2am each day, when the time it takes bothers no one.

I have the breaks cueing up OK by using a timed event at the start of
the sequence.
Been looking at the wiki and Manuals but haven't found the solution.

RDCATCH is machine specific
When you create the event from another machine make sure you specify
which machine it' is going to happen on [host].
Later versions let you create remotely but you have to have that host
defined.

You can create a new scheduler code without the '=' and globally change
all songs with E=1 to E1 in RDLIBRARY so not too big a pain to test the

I would run an event which has the Legal ID in it which is done in rivendell
not Selector.
The legal can be set to play at the top of the hour and bump the over fills
by selecting play at scheduled time

the split of the label and insertion into the right place in the CARTS
table but it's been fire fighting time so we do it manually at the moment.

y supplier does not list them, and I

Microsoft and just like Apple. The good
thing about Linux is you can generally go back to one that works. Or in
some cases sideways.
Did you plan to use the same computer for Production and Playout?
