After a lot off testing looking and investigations, found the trouble.
Its a missing file in you're /lib, which is causing this error.
On some older QNap system the Glibc libary is not compleet.
Working on a solution, so hopefully have a new version which will fix it
soon.

Although I have no intention to move from Intel base, it seems QNAP now
favour AMD processors (for their performance models). Is there a
fundamental reason why this qpkg will only ever work on Intel
processors, or is it simply that you do not have an AMD system to test

I changed the default network to be 192.168.1.XXX

and this time the LMS has appeared as 192.168.1.214

The problem is that I can install Q'center and launch it but it will not
connect to itself or another QNAP. I haven't tried uninstalling yet but
I will shortly.
I emailed qnap asking for more info and this is their reply.

What you could do, is backup the Cache en prefs directory from inside
the .qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/SlimServer directory to a safe place.
