SeaMonkey v1.1.17 & FlashBlock v1.3.14 on redesigned VideoSift.com show no videos?
Hi! Is anyone else not seeing videos when using FlashBlock v1.3.14 extension in SeaMonkey v1.1.17 to not automatically show Flash parts/areas on redesigned http://videosift.com/ (VS)? They do not show after clicking on "F" and its play button. I was able to reproduce it in two XP Pro. machines, one Windows 2000 SP4 (new SM, extension, and default installations!), and Debian/Linux. The extension and VS developers could not reproduce it. I wasn't able to reproduce it with SeaMonkey v2.0b1 on a test machine with Dell OEM XP Home. I am checking to see if others can or cannot reproduce this on redesigned videosift.com. Thank you in advance. :) -- "The greatest enemies of ants are other ants, just as the greatest enemies of men are other men." --Auguste Forel /\___/\ / /\ /\ \ Phil/Ant @ http://antfarm.ma.cx (Personal Web Site) | |o o| |Ant's Quality Foraged Links (AQFL): http://aqfl.net \ _ / Nuke ANT from e-mail address: phi...@earthlink.netant ( ) or ant...@zimage.com Ant is currently not listening to any songs on his home computer. ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

Maybe it needs to be updated? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/433 Before I could install a different version of flashblock, I had to uninstall it. Having an extension that can't be easily uninstalled is really not a good idea! It took many tries to finally get rid of Mnenhy completely, which for me caused more problems than it resolved, and then I still had to uninstall flashblock. I didn't want to mess around with a new install of Mnenhy, so I opted for the double dose of the extension manager and the extension uninstaller API, which worked pretty well, although I still had to remove references of flashblock in other files to get my personal toolbar to look normal. Then In installed flashblock version 1.3.11, and everything seems to be fine for now. Shut down SeaMonkey. 3. Locate your SeaMonkey profile directory. This should contain a "chrome" subdirectory. This chrome directory should contain a "overlayinfo" subdirectory.
