Running WE 9 on a Win 8.1 system.
Can be on a web page using IE 11 or on the windows update screen or just
about anywhere and I will simply lose speech. Is anyone else

I just installed the creator update to Windows 10. WE seems to work
just as it did. Still works poorly with the Edge browser.
NVDA however works pretty well with Edge under Creator version of Win
10. If as is currently being mentioned that there will be no more real
development of WE I am ass

The future development of Window Eyes is dead. We were lucky that WE
works with the Creator update of Win 10. What we haven't seen however
is any improvement in WE to work with the Edge browser as well as any
fixes for any bugs.
NVDA is a good choice for replacing WE however I know not everyon

If I am reading the info correctly in the WE 9.5.1 update readme just
released when the upcoming Win 10 update is released Edge is still not
recommended for use with a screen Reader as it says that with a screen
reader present IE will be the default browser.
Seems that a improved Narrator is a major part of the upcoming Win 10
update. Am I the only one wondering why Microsoft just didn't purchase
GW Micro and just make WE part of Windows rather than spending money
