Before pre-betas To, CC, BCC fields acted like most of the default OS text
fields - when you select the text in then rightclick and choose recipient
from favorite contacts selected text got deleted and new recipient inserted.
Now it is ADDED no matter select you old text

Yes I can - it is standard behaviour - and it is irritating. I'd like to see the
whole addressing / address editing issue re-engineered as a coordinated beta program

alternative that many people forget about.
No we don't - but this mechanism is also flawed in that:-
- You cannot paste addresses separated with newlines
- you cannot move /copy LDAP searched for entries into you
