I generally leave TheBat! running on my desktop 24x7.
Sometime over the past weekend (while I was away and
no one was using my computer) it displayed a message
box showing that it caught an access violation. If
interested, you can see the message at

I am working with a customer that insists on prepending

However, I would still like to strip the annoying

subjects in the threaded view don't become hundreds
of characters long.
Is that possible?

My anti-virus program keeps telling me that several of
the messages in one (or more) of my .TBB files is
infected with the Generic.Peed virus. When I ask it
for details, it will tell me which .TBB file, and the
message number.
Is there some way to use that info to look at the
message in TheBat!

Does this exist? If so, does anyone know where I may

If the TB4 plug-ins are compatible with TB5, you might want
