Afaik media player does not put in any data in the files besides the
names, so artist or album or genre menu migth be empty .

One tip storage must be avaible to LMS while LMS is running .

radio and services thing .
The Touch is a network music player, so the bug originated in that the
dev's did not figured that a network music player would be used without
a network.
I think it is enough to conect it to a switch actually.

A major point is to NOT have the server in the listening room btw, not
having buzzing fans and whirring hd's is a good upgrade.
Ethernet cables can be up to 100m trouble free...
