These are my settings for the IQAudio Dac+ which I think uses the same chip: No other fields filled in below. I've been using these for ages without any problems and I have three players in use and a couple more occasionally used. But I do have DSD Player plugin installed on the LMS server.

Today's reply from IQ Audio: The quicktest image on our download site uses standard raspbian and includes codec drivers. Other audio applications may need to update their environments to include the codec driver - which has been available for 6months plus. What OS are you trying to use?
