Bumping this again so see if anyone else has any suggestions.
I've done some additional testing and every spreadsheet I have that has
multiple sheets will show the problem at some time.

t appears to be working it doesn't actually change the font.
And finally no matter what I do the help file is blank when I open it up. I
believe it's a related font issue but cannot seem to fix it.

I have a spreadsheet and the data was originally entered as 4 digits. I need to
pass it to a database system that requires 6 digits. I've tried formatting with
2 leading zeros but I still cannot get the number to properly show up as
00

Once you create your column with the date formatted properly copy it and paste
special into a new column including only the text or
to do that, you would have to
insert another column and then merge all but the split cell.

it off? I don't know abut that I never bothered to look for it. I've used the
emergency recovery feature too often to turn off the automatic saving that
happens occasionall
