vPIP rocks!
I've been using vPIP for over a year, and as I rebuild my site, vPIP
is there to make my life easier. I use to only output to .mp4 and
.wmv, vPIP handles both. Now I use .mov and .flv formats and .vPIP is
there to make them look good.
I have ideas of delving into AppleTV format and
I've added Ogg support to the .ogv and .oga extensions in vpip.js.
And it will be in the next release. I don't think cortada.jar cares
about extension, but the internal format -- so it should work with them.
Someone can specify any file with or without extension in the
Vlogsplosion Ogg media
I'll have another release probably before next week that fixes a bug
in the embed code (if you have ThickBox off it still puts the embed
code to use ThickBox, but with the ThickBox script reference missing.)
And the embed code will match the layout of your vPIP entry with it's
own share-embed

They are apples and oranges, or rather tape video tape and
videoplayer. One is not better than the other, one (SWF) is required
for the other (FLV) to be viewed. FLV is like a video tape, you can't
view it by pulling the tape out of the cartride and looking at it.
