I've checked and the double-tap keyboard shortcut is on. I could not make it
work with keybord using touch-typing.
Any suggestions?

1. I find space and lift finger and quickly double-tap.
An other method I tried before ios 7 is to find space and put an other finger

cumbersome at best to use foreign-language dictionaries, because every word
in every definition was a hyperlink. Does anybody know of a dictionary,
either multi-lingual or monolingual, that is not set up this way, so that
