That freaked me out as well. What I did was hit my home button, but my finger
towards the top of the screen where the status bar is, and turned up the
volume. I think they made a bad choice in muting your sound when the app comes

Thanks! I will be checking that out for sure. I often find myself loving the
iPhone version and hating the iPad version. I hate those sort of expanding
menus. I just don't do well with them. Yay, I'm glad to know the iPhone
version will work as remote too. :)
