Hi! I'll confirm on this one so you can disregard my last message in another thread. As I know, if you have iPhone without 3D Touch you need to double tap and hold and if you do have 3D Touch you need to force it down, double tap and hold wont work on 3D Touch

It is something that is recommended by Rob from the Today in iOS Podcast and a recent Tech Radar article somebody posted here also mentioned this as a fix for problems with battery life or bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity after an upgrade. I just find that doing it in advance prevents such problems
