Facetime always defaults to the front facing camera since the app is meant
to be used for video calls hence it uses the camera which shows a person's
face as they are holding their iPhone by default. As I posted before, you

Right, but the question is why would you use Facetime Audio instead of
just Facetime, which includes video. The audio quality would be the same
in both cases. Again, I think it comes down to bandwidth and those times
when you just don't want to be on or mess with video.

Yes, face time does require wi fi because it would really chew up a
lot of data charges on 3G. And yes, it defaults to the front facing
camera, but it's really easy to switch. It's also easy just to turn
the phone around sometimes because the nice thing about Face time is
that you don't have

Yes, in normal situations you have to be on wifi to use facetime.
However if you jailbreak you can get past that. Just know it eats
through data quite a bit though.
