Most icons on the home screen have extra actions available if you use 3D touch
on them. If your phone has 3D touch, you can press them. If not, touch one, and
double-tap and hold. Or on any device, flick up or down to Context Menu and
double-tap to open the same menu of choices

other update on any phone that is not a 6S or 6S Plus and of course future
phones will support 3D Touch.

I think Monica must be mixing this up with something else because 3D Touch and
any settings related to it are only available on the 6S and 6S Plus.
3D Touch is a hardware feature and therefore it is and never can be available
on anything prior to these phones.
